Facebook has revealed that its active user base has exceeded the 250 million mark. The social networking website's chief executive and founder Mark Zuckerberg revealed in a blog post last week that this major milestone was a "humbling" experience for the company. The 200 million target represented an increase of 50 million people in just 3 months. Zuckerberg said:- "For us, growing to 250 million users isn't just an impressive number; it is a mark of how many personal connections all of you have made," 120 million people use Facebook per day, and surprisingly the fastest growing age group is the 35+ bracket.
